I work in retail. I've spent the past twenty years switching back and forth between cross-stitch and quilting. I have more unfinished projects than completed ones - most of those were for others. One day I shall get back to making my own clothes again - when there's more time, more space and more energy! I have a slight interest in technology and computers...most of it I've gleaned from my partner who works in the IT industry.
I live with three kids - two of whom are my partner's girls and one boy who is mine...in a house on a hill not too far from the centre of the city...where we look out into the green hills and bush and watch the tui and fantails and the occasional kereru hanging out. One cat, two guinea pigs and three fish...and the possibility of a rabbit in a few months.
Flylady, The Dinner Diva and MissusSmartyPants are my heroes and help me get by on a daily basis, at least enough to be able to squish some craft time in now and then!
